Win of the Week

Why We Are Celebrating Every Win (Big or Small)

In a world that constantly tells us to do more, be more, and give more, we rarely stop to celebrate the fact that we are simply doing our best. We are often so focused on the finish line that we forget to acknowledge the small victories we achieve just to get through the day.

This is why I am officially launching the Win of the Week on the blog and in our weekly newsletter.

What is a Win of the Week?

A win isn’t always a massive life milestone. It isn't always a promotion, a clean house, or a perfectly behaved child. In this space, a win is any moment where you chose yourself, set a boundary, or navigated a challenge with grace for yourself.

Maybe your win was:

• Choosing to sit and drink your coffee while it was actually hot.
• Saying no to an event that you knew would drain your energy.
• Taking a walk alone just to hear your own thoughts.
• Letting the dishes sit in the sink so you could sleep.

This is for Everyone

I want to be very clear about one thing. While I often speak from the perspective of a mother, this space is for everyone. Whether you are a parent, a grandparent, a caregiver, or someone simply trying to find their footing in a busy world, your wins matter here.

We all carry an invisible load. We all struggle with the myth that we don't deserve a break. And we all need to be reminded that putting your own mask on first is the only way to stay afloat.

Share Your Story Anonymously

I know how hard it can be to brag about yourself. It feels "selfish" or "unimportant" to many of us. That is why I have created a completely anonymous way for you to share your victories.

Each week, I will select a few submissions to feature in our newsletter and on social media. My goal is to create a "digital village" where we can look at each other’s wins and realize that we are not alone in this journey. Your win might be the exact permission slip someone else needs to see today.

How to Participate

You can find the link to the anonymous submission form at the bottom of this post or in my social media bios. No name is required, and no detail is too small to celebrate.

Let’s start changing the narrative. Let’s stop focusing on where we fell short and start celebrating where we showed up for ourselves.

What was your win this week? I can’t wait to hear from you.
